Information about Kindermusik International.

Kindermusik is the world's leading music and movement programme for children newborn to 7 years. There are over 6000 educators worldwide and now a growing number of educators providing music classes to babies, toddlers and children in the UK and Ireland.

Kindermusik International has more than 25 years of experience creating curricula based on new and proven research in child development . The award-winning books, CDs, games, and instruments nurture skills in the whole child: cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and language.

In a Kindermusik music class, educators lead a group of parents and their children through fun activities, using music and movement. Parents learn more about their child's unique developmental process, and the shared learning experience creates a unique bond as the child associates learning with fun, musical play.

Kindermusik Classes.

Themed programmes are between 8 and 20 weeks long, depending on your child's age. Currently there are sessions for children aged 0-18 months and 18 months-4 years. Kindermusik classes include story telling, singing & vocal play, musical instrument & object exploration, creative movement & dance and listening purposefully in a small and friendly setting.

Classes have an informal feel to them and there is no right or wrong way to participate! Guidance and instructions are given for each activity, however I encourage you to follow your child's lead and listen to their cues.

Each class is followed by some light refreshments and a chat amongst attendees whilst listening to some Kindermusik tunes.
